Welcome to the iconic 2026 Peninsula Film Festival.

This festival has come a long way since 2011, when 500 film buffs packed into a theatre to watch a series of short films.

As it marks its 15th year, the festival has grown to see thousands of people joining together on the peninsula, attending multiple events over three days to enjoy quality Australian films.

The Victorian Government is proud to support this event through our Regional Events Fund, which ensures that communities across the state can showcase their creativity through events.

Since 2016, we have supported more than 450 events that draw visitors from far and wide, supporting jobs and businesses and boosting local economies.

While on the Mornington Peninsula for the Festival, I encourage visitors to explore all that the region has to offer including local restaurants and cafes, stunning beaches, and delightful wineries.

Congratulations to the event organisers on another fabulous film festival.
